WebMay 18, 2024 · By employing a series of experimental techniques, we provide clear evidence that CaPtAs represents a rare example of a noncentrosymmetric superconductor which simultaneously exhibits nodes in the superconducting gap and broken time-reversal symmetry (TRS) in its superconducting state (below T c≈1.5 K ). WebLower critical field (Hc1), is an intrinsic parameter related to the mechanism of superconductivity in type –II superconductors. Measurements of Hc1, the upper critical field, (Hc2) and coherence length (ξ) give a complete description of the mixed state parameters of the type-II superconductor.
